“Earn while You Learn” Vocational courses in Solar Energy.
Tata Institute of Social Sciences- School of Vocational Education One Year Diploma in Solar Energy Technology. Shri Bala Ji Projects providing renewable energy course in lucknow.
The approach adopted is called the Work Integrated Training Programme (WITP). This Vocational Educational Programme is being implemented for the first time in India with a focus on Job specific skills rather than providing only a broad based education. The aim is to enable the student to learn the skill by engaging in on job-training at real shop floor of the industry/company along with classroom theoretical training.
The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is a premier institute of Social Work in India. It was established in 1936 and was recognized as a Deemed University by the University Grant Commission (UGC) of India in the year 1964 and as a result, diversified its activities.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has launched a scheme on skills development based higher education as part of college/university education, leading to Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.), Degree with multiple exits such as Diploma/Advanced Diploma under the NSQF. Ministry of HRD, Government of India had issued an Executive Order in September 2011 for National Vocational Education Qualification Framework (NVEQF). Subsequently, Ministry of Finance, in pursuance of the decision of Cabinet Committee on Skill Development in its meeting held on 19th December, 2013, has issued a notification for National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) which supersedes NVEQF. The B.Voc. Programme is focused on universities and colleges providing undergraduate studies which would also incorporate specific job roles and their NOSs along with broad based general education. This would enable the graduates completing B.Voc. to make a meaningful participation in accelerating India’s economy by gaining appropriate employment, becoming entrepreneurs and creating appropriate knowledge.
